My current projects focus on improving the welfare of ruminants, with examples including outdoor access for dairy goats, the implementation of effective enrichment for dairy calves, and the study of traditional farming practices in Guadeloupe.
My research focuses on improving the welfare of cattle, sheep and goats in livestock farming, taking into account other aspects of farming (health, economics, nutrition, environment, etc.). In addition, I am involved in disseminating knowledge and providing expertise (on the subject of animal welfare) to public authorities and professionals in the farming and research sectors.
At the same time, I have created Veille Droit Animal, a regularly updated website listing European and French regulations on animal protection.
